Indicator Lights

  • AWD Lock- This light is spelled out as AWD LOCK. This indicator light will illuminate when the car initially turns on. It indicates that you've selected the AWD Lock mode. If this light remains on, make sure to stop by your nearest Nissan service center.
  • Front Fog Light- If this light is illuminated it will appear as three squiggly lines through a squiggly vertical line followed by a half circle. This light indicates that the front fog lights are on to help you see the road a bit more clearly in foggy conditions.
  • SPORT- This indicator light is spelled out as SPORT and it briefly illuminates when the ignition switch is placed in the ON position and when the SPORT mode is selected. This mode allows for quicker acceleration thanks to changes in the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) when the mode is engaged.

Warning Lights

Warning lights indicate a more severe issue with one of the many intelligent systems in the car. Your car is trying to communicate that there is a problem when one of these lights illuminates, so take heed and get your Rogue to the nearest authorized Nissan dealer for service.

  • Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) System- This light resembles two cars crashing head-on with each other. This light will briefly illuminate when the car starts, and tells you when the AEB system is set to OFF on the vehicle information display. If it appears when the AEB system is on, it may mean that there is an issue with the system.
  • Power Steering- This warning light appears as a steering wheel next to an exclamation point. This light will appear when the car starts and will turn off after the engine starts. If this light illuminates while the engine is running, it may indicate there is an issue with the power steering function and may need servicing. It is recommended to visit a Nissan dealer for service as soon as possible.
