What Is the e-Pedal?

The e-Pedal is a unique advancement in driving technology that will revolutionize the way you drive. This feature allows you to accelerate, decelerate, and even stop—all while using one pedal, creating a sportier and more engaging drive than ever before.

When driving with the e-Pedal, pressing down will cause the vehicle to accelerate. As you lift your foot from the pedal, your vehicle will essentially begin to apply the brakes.

If you’re look for an electric car to be more environmentally conscious, you’ll be pleased with the many additional features included in the LEAF. Standard with Eco Mode and the Regenerative Braking System, this vehicle will help you make the most of each battery charge.

Regenerative Braking will actually utilize any kinetic energy released when braking and convert it into electricity to recharge your battery.

Since the Nissan LEAF comes with a Quick Charge Port, you can easily get your 40-kWH battery up to 80% charged in as little as 40 minutes. There’s also the standard Portable Charge Cable, which allows you to plug into a 240-V wall outlet to charge your vehicle.
