Electrifying Efficiency

The power of the 2023 Nissan LEAF lies within its all-electric battery source. There are two battery options for this model. At the heart of the 2023 Nissan LEAF, you'll find a standard 110-kilowatt AC synchronous electric motor. It draws power from the 40-kilowatt (kWh) lithium-ion battery. These work together to provide an EPA-estimated 123 city/99 highway MPGe.*

With the base model, you can cover almost 150 miles without stopping for a fill-up. This means you can spend more time enjoying your ride and less time at the charging station. However, that isn’t the only power option. You could also choose the available 60 kWh battery, which not only provides upgraded range but also more horsepower.

If this is your first electric vehicle, Nissan ensures you’ll have access to this performance at all times. There are over 40,000 Level 2 public chargers across the U.S. and even thousands of DC Quick Charging stations that take as little as 40 minutes to fill your battery to 80%.

Though technically classified as “compact,” the Nissan LEAF is designed with a cabin as spacious as possible without taking up any unnecessary space. The model isn’t shy about dividing space within its 92.4 cubic feet of passenger volume. Plus, multiple features are offered to optimize your comfort.

With plenty of room inside, you and your copilot can enjoy up to 42.1 inches of space to stretch and shift your legs during long commutes. Check out the other dimensions:

Headroom front/rear 41.2 inches/37.3 inches
Legroom front/rear 42.1 inches/33.5 inches
