NISSAN ROGUE SPORT EXTERIOR DIMENSIONS
72.3 inches wideThe Nissan Rogue Sport is like the smaller cousin of the Nissan Rogue. These smaller exterior dimensions make it easier to fit into a tight parking space or crowded garage:
- 172.8 inches long
- 62.5 inches tall
If you choose the SV or SL trim, you’ll get the added convenience of roof rails on top of your Rogue Sport. This feature increases the overall height to 63.4 inches.
HANDLING OF THE ROGUE SPORT
When you get on the road with the Rogue Sport, you’ll quickly notice that this SUV is expertly crafted to offer engaging handling. This is made clear from some of the other exterior dimensions.
While the height, length, and width of the Rogue Sport make it easy to maneuver through crowded streets and narrow parking spaces, the track width and wheelbase make it easy to maneuver on the road in general.
The Rogue Sport has a track width of 62.4 inches in the front and 62.2 inches in the back. With a wheelbase of 104.2 inches, you’ll likely find that this vehicle feels steadier on the road, even when traversing bumpy terrain.
Additionally, each trim level of the Rogue Sport has a slightly different curb weight, due in part to the various different features and amenities found in each model:
- S trim: 3,307 pounds
- SV trim: 3,349 pounds
- SL Trim: 3,397 pounds
While the S trim is lightest at 3,307 pounds, the SL is only 90 pounds heavier overall.
STYLISH ASSETS
Another detail that might catch your eye from the exterior of the Nissan Rogue Sport are the wheels. They not only add a bit of flair to your ride, they help you stand tall above the road too.
The standard aluminum-alloy wheels come in at 17 inches. However, if you want extra height to make you feel more confident on the road, you might want to upgrade to the available 19-inch wheels found in the SL trim.
NISSAN ROGUE SPORT PASSENGER SPACE
Don’t let the compact design of the 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport fool you—it still has plenty of interior space to comfortably seat five people. Models without a moonroof have 96 cubic feet of total passenger space. Those cubic feet break out into plenty of headroom, legroom, hip room, and shoulder room for each row:
First Row |
Second Row |
Headroom (without moonroof) |
|
39.6 inches |
38.3 inches |
Legroom |
|
42.8 inches |
33.4 inches |
Hip Room |
|
53.4 inches |
46.9 inches |
Shoulder Room |
|
56.6 inches |
55.7 inches |
If you choose a moonroof, the front row can enjoy space that opens to the sky above with the push of a button. Models equipped with this feature do get a slight reduction in front headroom, but they also have slightly more rear headroom.
When equipped with the moonroof, the Rogue Sport has 38.8 inches of front head room and 38.5 inches of rear head room. However, whether or not you choose a model with the available moonroof, it’s clear that none of your passengers will be bumping elbows.
CLIMB IN WITH EASE
The step-in height is incredibly important when considering an SUV, since it contributes to how easily you and your passengers can climb inside. That’s why the Rogue Sport comes standard with an excellent step in height.
Front passengers can enjoy the convenience of the 17.1-inch step in height. Though, rear passengers get slightly more with 17.8-inches of step in height. Either way, all your passengers will be able to comfortably take their seat inside.
As the driver, you’ll also have the standard tilt and telescoping steering column working with you. This can be easily repositioned, so you can get in and out of the driver’s seat with ease.
NISSAN ROGUE SPORT CARGO SPACE
Behind the rear seat, the Rogue Sport offers 22.9 cubic feet of standard cargo space. This area is designed for your convenience with six standard cargo tie-down hooks, an available cargo cover, and the versatile available Divide-N-Hide® Cargo System.
What if you pass the perfect bookcase for sale on your way home from work? Go ahead and grab it! The rear seats in the Rogue Sport easily fold down, providing a flat cargo area with up to 61.1 cubic feet of space. The maximum dimensions of this entire cargo area are:
- 54.2 inches wide
- 62.3 inches long
- 33.3 inches tall
With those dimensions, the Rogue Sport is plenty large enough to fit most dog crates. Though, even with the rear row in the upright position, you’ll still have a cargo area that measures 33.3 inches long.
