Nissan Rogue Sport Interior
If you're considering making the 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport the car for your daily drives through Indianapolis, Lawrence, and Speedway, there's a lot you may want to know about this sleek subcompact crossover SUV.
For instance, how does the Nissan Rogue Sport interior measure up? You can find out by reading this interior review prepared by the team at Andy Mohr Nissan. We'll delve deeper into the qualities you care about most, from dimensions to materials and technology features!
ROGUE SPORT: INTERIOR SPACIOUSNESS
The Rogue Sport seats five passengers across two rows of seats, and it manages to optimize every inch of available space to give the driver room to relax. The front row offers 42.8 inches of legroom and 39.6 inches of headroom—enough to make getting in and out of the vehicle easy.
The passengers in the back seats will also enjoy a spacious ride in the Rogue Sport. With roomy rear dimensions, the Rogue Sport is spacious enough to seat the average-sized adult in back.

Leave nothing behind in the back seat again with the Rear Door Alert system. With it, you will receive a visual alert on your Advanced Drive Assist® Display and an audible alert that reminds you to check the rear seat. It’s innovation far beyond average!
Rogue Sport Cargo Space
Every adventurer needs room for versatility. You may be surprised by how much cargo space you discover in this subcompact SUV, but that’s one of the many charms of the Nissan Rogue Sport. Let’s dive right into cargo solutions for active adventurers!
As we’ve already implied, cargo capacity is exceptional. You'll find 22.9 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats up, which is plenty of space to cart around groceries, luggage, or golf clubs. With the rear seats down, the cargo area expands to 61.1 cubic feet to hold all your outdoors gear and even some small furniture items.
Take advantage of the Divide-N-Hide® cargo organizer in the Rogue Sport. Use a flip-up panel to keep cargo from rolling around. If you have valuables, such as a laptop that you want to hide from view, use the hide configuration to create a veiled storage space.
DESIGN & MATERIALS
The Nissan Rogue Sport provides good visibility due to its large windows along with plenty of quality soft-touch surfaces. You'll find the Rogue Sport also offers a cleverly designed dog-bone-shaped cup holder, which can easily hold smartphones, cords, and loose change (and, of course, your cups).
In the S and SV trims, the Rogue Sport comes standard with cloth upholstery, but you'll find smooth leather on the top-tier SL trim. The S trim comes exclusively with charcoal black upholstery, but every other trim offers the choice between charcoal black and light gray colors. Stitching on the seats and doors gives the design a more artisanal feel.
ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY
The Rogue Sport has a variety of standard tech features designed for your convenience. They include Siri® Eyes Free, letting you call, text, and update your calendar all without taking your eyes off the road or your hands off the wheel. Also, a rearview monitor gives you a view of what's happening behind you when you need to reverse. Other technology features that comes standard with the Rogue Sport include:
- Bluetooth®
- Apple CarPlay®
- Android Auto™
When you upgrade to higher trims, you can enjoy an 8-way power driver's seat with 2-way lumbar support to give your lower back the comfort and reinforcement it needs for those long drives. The available Intelligent Around View® Monitor will give you a 360-degree view of what's happening around your car.
Take Interior Comfort to the Next Level
Comfort doesn’t just belong to the driver. In the Rogue Sport, you can democratize it to your whole crew! Experience a comfort that embraces all and leaves no one out in the cold—metaphorically or literally.
With available Tri Zone Automatic Temperature Control, you and your passengers won’t be fighting over the A/C controls anymore! Driver and front passengers can each set their preferred temperature down to the degree and let this system handle the rest.
Take the edge off a chilly morning with available Quick Comfort® heated front seats, while heated outside mirrors defrost themselves and make wintertime driving so much more convenient. And we haven’t even touched on the best feature.
The available Remote Engine Start System with Intelligent Climate Control lets you start your Rogue Sport from your living room—or anywhere up to 195 feet away from your crossover. Cool it down or heat it up before you’re ready to hit the road!
Standard Safety Shield® 360
You want a safer way to cruise around town, and now, you’ve got it. For the first time, the Nissan Rogue Sport makes Safety Shield® 360 standard on every trim level. Its driver assistance will alert you to potential hazards all around you.
Visual, audial, or touchscreen alerts will reach you in the cabin so you can pay more attention to what’s happening outside of it. Newly standard features include:
- Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection
- Intelligent Forward Collision Warning
- Intelligent Lane Intervention
- High Beam Assist
Many more driver-assistive features are added as you move up trim levels. One of our favorite features is available Intelligent Driver Alertness, which can warn you when it detects signs of drowsy driving. Heed its warning and pull over to rest or let a fellow passenger take the wheel for a little while.
